Oxy (insufflated) time to reach peak??

I would have thought this type of question has been asked a lot before - and maybe it has - but I've done quite a bit of searching and not found a satisfactory answer.

I assume the same applies to OxyContin as Oxycodone if they are the crushed OC OxyContins.

When swallowed, oxycodone takes approximately 60 minutes to reach peak blood plasma. How long does it take when insufflated? I assume much less?

I'm not looking for an exact answer, just an approximation.

I would say about half that time, but I also feel like it peaks in about 45 minutes when taken orally.

I agree with this. I definitely don't think it takes an hour when taken orally, but I also always take on an empty stomach. Snorting seems to peak in 15-25minutes.

remember the length of action is basicalky halved. so youre compromising duration of actiin for a quicmk onset and small 'rush' from insufflation.

the nasal bio-availability is like 2/3rds that of oral.

I take a bunch of those a month (legally) and I've never had one orally take anywhere near an hour to start working (feeling it). Probably more like 20-30 minutes tops. When I snort them, it feels like it starts within 10 minutes or so. Maybe my metabolism is fast, not sure. Just my experience on the question.
