Opioids Oxy helps with allergies?

I have pretty shitty environmental allergies in general, my main problem is nasal congestion. Nasal congestion seems to get a little worse if I smoke weed or even eat edibles, so I assume I'm slightly allergic to weed.

Anyways, whenever I'm on oxy, my symptoms seem to be almost nonexistent. I also take benadryl with the oxy to reduce the itching. But i take benadryl when I'm sober too and it seems to be of little help, so the reduction in symptoms can't be completely attributed to benadryl. I also find i can use more weed while on oxy without my symptoms getting too bad.

One of my hypotheses for why oxy might help allergies, is that maybe it focuses all my histamines and allergic responses on itching and diverts my body's attention away from the usual allergic responses like nasal congestion.

Also, i figured it might be useful information that while sober, my allergies never seem to cause itching. The only thing that makes me itch is oxy lol.

A hospital grade active carbon HEPA UV Ionizing air filter helps my allergies a helluva lot more than opioid dependency.

Have you ever tried like, hydroxyzine or fexofenadine or something more conventional?

How often are you doing oxycodone/opioids? That almost sounds like dependency/rebound effects. Lots of people confuse the beginning of opioid withdrawal with allergies, or the flu.

I use pretty sparingly, once or twice a month typical, sometimes less cause it's not cheap. And I don't use it for allergies specifically lol, it's just a nice bonus effect.
