i was wondering what the difference between the blue 30 mg oxy pills which i call blues or roxys and the white 30 mg oxy pills are? Ive tried both but i feel the blues hit me alot harder than the whites ones. And is oxy an opiote?

Assuming they're actually 30mg, and the white ones aren't time release (I don't think there are white time release 30mg oxys), they should be the same. Check the lettering on the pill on a pill ID site (just google pill ID, there are billions of sites that do that).

The only difference is who manufactured the pill.

The drug is the exact same, in the exact same dosage with the exact same potency. Any perceived difference is your mind simply playing tricks on you, most likely.

This is assuming of course that both the pills are of the instant release variety.

The manufacturer Ethex used to make a generic 30mg instant release oxycodone tablet that was white with ETH imprinted on one side and 446 on the other. The company discontinued producing these over a year (maybe longer) ago, however that does mean that some pharmacies don't still have a surplus in stock. Many people who abused oxycodone didn't like these particular brand of pills due to the fact that they are EXTREMELY hard and therefore much harder to crush up for snorting or shooting. I've also heard people complain that they didn't seem as strong, however as someone above me already stated this could all be in their head.

Per Wikipedia (so take with a grain of salt) :Oxycodone is an opioid analgesic medication synthesized from opium-derived thebaine. It was developed in 1916 in Germany, as one of several new semi-synthetic opioids in an attempt to improve on the existing opioids: morphine, diacetylmorphine (heroin), and codeine.

Hope that helps. :-)

P.S. - All this information (except maybe the "abusers preference" portion) is available with a quick Google search. Best of luck & be careful. :-)

I'd suggest taking Oxycodone orally, it has a higher bioavailability that way (though it may hit you a bit slower/weaker, you should get higher). Also those IR oxycodone formulations are usually pretty massive pills, no? Snorting OxyContin is do-able, but the IR formulations is like 2x80mg OxyContin worth of powder for only 20-30mg.
