Oxy Evap for IV ( from 10 ounces H2O)

I just wanted to document a little experiment I am currently undertaking. I spilled 45mg of crushed up Oxycodone IR into a cup containing approximately 10 ounces of water earlier tonight, and decided to attempt to evaporate all but 3-6ml's of the water in the oven at 170 degrees. I am looking to reduce the water down to a reasonable amount to IV, and will post the results of my experiment (buzz or lack thereof) when I'm done. Unfortunately I imagine this taking quite some time, but fortunately I am a patient man when I'm not jonesing so I shall closely monitor the water and post the results of my attempted disaster recovery when my experiment is complete.

Yes I know I should just drink the water FFS, but my unrestrainable curiousity and my insatiable desire to transform my mistake into a learning experience (hopefully a successful one) that may benefit other IV junkies on the planet has led me to place the mug in the oven. Wish me luck!

So.... My patience wore thin after 6 hours and I promptly junked out by throwing the water in a pan and simmering it on the stove. I worked it down using a reasonable slow simmer over the course of about 45 minutes, triple filtered and shot.

Mission success. ;-) Not the strongest in the world, but definitely a success. I'm relatively surprised by the molecule to the 210 degree heat, but with as many junkies as I've seen boil the hell out of a pill and still get a high I figured I might as well give it a shot! lol

Just shoot the oxy. A friend of mine has shot 1000's of pills and it hasn't seemed to do him any immediate harm. I really, really doubt this makes doing it any safer.

EDIT: He does it without micron filtering, but I'd highly suggest you take that route if you have to bang it.

45 mg isnt that hard to dissolve in water. Was it an accident of how it got in so much water? Also, heating oxy in a shot just dissolves more binders into ur solution. Oxy is readily soluble in cold water. Inform ur friends it will cause less harm to their veins

Sorry for the apparent lack of clarity, but yes I most definitely did not mean to put the precious OC into such a large amount of water. I was interested in reducing the amount of H20 to a manageable level so that I may be able to IV it without having to do 100000000000millionbilliontrillion injections.=Dm

I did scrape the pot at the end when I was working up the shot to make sure I retrieved any happiness that might have adhered to the sides during evap, but the main point of the experiment was to see if the OC would make it through all of the heat on the stove. Fortunately most of it did seem to, but it was difficult toa ttmpt to scraped all of the residue out of the corner and off of the side of the pot.

Thank you for looking out, but I only use cold water as OC is perfectly soluble in even very cold water, but the pill binders and other things that make less than desirable additions to your lung tissue do not dissolve as well in cold H2O.

Appreciate the input guys, and happy scoring!
