Oxy Dreams

I have a VERY BAD tooth in my head right now.

The other day a VERY GOOD friend of mine gave me 3 40mg OC's to get me through until I go to the denist tommorrow.

I figured I could 1/4 them up and get me through 3 days of pain. (Since I also had several 10mg hydro's I wasn't too worried about losing the 12 hour effect of the oxy's).

Needless to say last night the tooth got to hurting fucking BADDDDDD!!!!!!

So about 2 hours before bed i took 3/4 of a pill.

You know within the hour I was feeling GOOD.

Within the the last 4 hours I was awake I had taken 1 whole oxy and maybe 2-3 hydros)

So off to bed I went.

While I was asleep I had the most WILD INTENSE dreams!

Almost like CEV's during a K-Hole.

Now I am not complaining or anything, I am just wondering has anyone else ever experienced this before.

For the record I am a very experienced opiate user, and have a mild tolerance to opiates. I usually need 2 40mg OC's for a good night of fun.

But I have never had these "Oxy Dreams" before. Anyone else had?

Also since this is the first time I have been to the denist since I was a kid (when scoring pain pills didn't matter), any ideas on how to go about getting a good script after I have these teeth pulled???

I have dreams of trying to get oxy's but no crazy dreams when I'm actually on them. When I take oxy's late at night I barely remember my dreams.

i do oxys, I have crazy dreams. so does my girlfriend. oxy gives you crazy dreams.

Oxy? No. Hydro? No. Tramadol? Dreams come like movies on DVD; I can wake up, go to the bathroom go back to sleep and pick back up where I left off (go figure). IV Demerol? Bad, crazy, psycho dreams to the point I won't do it again.

Oxy's really do give you wierd dreams. Everytime I do oxys and fall asleep high, I have long nights of deep sleep. When I sleep I have intense dreams. However when you stop doing them you don't get this, instead you feel like you can't really go to sleep.

agreed! oxys definitely give weird, intense dreams...that in my experience always seem very real, and are sometimes disturbing and unpleasant

its one of the only things i dislike about oxys hehe

Same here. I've had some wicked dreams while on oc's. Real intense dreams and sometimes I know I'm dreaming in the dream.
I've noticed though that if I take benzo's b4 I sleep I don't remember what I dreamed...

The only time I have "strange dreams" is when I nod out. If I just fall asleep, oxycodone does absolutely nothing unusual. I go to sleep like it was any other night and wake up feeling no different than if I hadn't used. I've taken between 10-420mgs of oxycodone in an evening. It doesn't matter.

after taking oxy's or hydrocodones for some reason I cannot sleep. Not that terrible restlessness of course, I will just lay there peacefully, thinking, for hours. This has happened EVERY time I take these...not that I am complaining at all about this

Oxy's give you wierd ass dreams. A couple of times I've fallen asleep on oxy's and when I woke up I thought I was somwhere else until I turned on the light.

ill get that but i have to nod out like others say...if i just fall asleep i feel amazing as i drift off but i think i forget my dreams.

if i were you and you say you know you were dreaming in the dream, check out some reading on lucid dreams, you can have alot of fun while you sleep =)

Same here. Except once after I was coming down from tripping off of a relatively light dose of shrooms(shared some tea with a friend and was a little disappointed in my trip level) and ate 40mgs of oxycontin. Once I started nodding out a little I had the most incredible dream of leperchauns riding in a short school bus driving around my favorite shroom field hanging out the windows cackaling(sp) while scooping up shrooms with nets, as there where thousands growing. After I came back to reality the oxy was still going strong and I think the strong euphoria made the mushys kick back in hard and everytime I concentrated on the euphoria I would see mad hallucinations around me, plus the opiates really calmed me down as I'm pretty anxious/paranoid on shrooms.
