Oxy cotin, oxy codone, hydro codone differences?

whats the difference between these three? i can get hydro, but dont wanna get it if its not gonna do anyhting, and just waste my money? all are 5mg
 
Oxycontin is the name for time release oxycodone, so you have to crush the pill to get it to be instantly released. Oxycodone is the main ingredient in Oxycontin, and one of the ingredients of Percocet (the other being APAP or Tylenol).

Hydrocodone is a completely different opiate. If you can get them cheap enough, they are amazing for someone who has not tried any. I prefer it at times to Oxycodone, but there is a shit ton of tylenol in hydrocodone. Research "Cold Water Extraction" of Hydrocodone, it is incredibly easy (all you need is cold water, and some sort of filter such as a shirt or even paper towel).

I would probably start with hydrocodone if I was you, because it was incredible the first times I tried it where as Oxycodone was a little too intense. Oxy feels like it has more of a rush, and is more intense. Hydrocodone feels a little more "noddy" or sedating, which is why I love it. However, start with dosing small, and don't combine it with any other drugs.

Be safe, don't get sucked into the hole that is opiates. If used responsibly they are so amazing, but once it hits an addiction it isn't fun at all anymore. Good luck :)
 
yea, ive done percosets and xanax and had a 7.5 mg hydro but i didnt feel anything, but it was all after i did the percoset and smoked all in one night. do you think its just my tolerance going up? i only do it about every other weekend or so

7.5mg of hydrocodone is a pretty low dosage. Most people wouldn't feel much off such an amount (some lucky people can catch a buzz from this I guess though)

maybe try 15-20mg next time. i usually like it in the 20-30mg range.

hydrocodone is slightly less potent than oxycodone I believe.
 
alright, and the water extraction, does that get you more of a buzz or just less harmful?

and not gettting into prices, but whats some other cheap pills like oxy's that isnt impossible to get? roxys?

5s are weak ones...BUT ask any addict and they'll tell you they're better than nothing!! Hydrocodone ranges from 5s to 7.5s to 10s with different amts of APAP (aka Vicodens, Lortabs, Loricets). Oxycodones are alot the same way in that regard. They range from 5s to 7.5s to 10s with different amts of APAP (aka Percocets, Tylox, Endocets). Then you get to the Oxycontins. They vary in strength from as low as 5s to as high as 160mgs. It's just the straight oxycodone so no APAP or anything in them, but Oxycontins are time-release....meaning the coating on the outside of the pill is extended release. It's easy enough to just run water over them and wipe em off with a paper towel or t-shirt until the pill is solid white...even the imprint!! But why would I go and do a thing like that when I can just get my personal fav...Roxicets. They are generic Oxycontin. But Roxis do not have time release so no extra steps...just crush n' go. They only come in a few strengths though. 5s are white; 15s are green; 30s (my favs!) are blue. Unfortunately, they do not go any higher. However, given the chance to get me an oxy 80I'm perfectly satisfied to go thru the rinsing, rubbing & drying. Hydro and oxy also come in different forms, such as syrup or as just a partial ingredient of a particular medication. This list is literally just the basics.

If I had been dealing with a major tolerance to Hydrocodone (Norco 10/325), like ridiculously stupid tolerance...such as 20-40 a day to get even, not high but just out of withdrawal...and then my doc began giving me Oxycodone and Oxycontin for about two months...am I good to go back onto the hydrocodone? I really prefer that high the most, so I'm wondering if the two (oxy and hydro) are different enough that my tolerance is now lowered for the hydrocodone?

I've noticed that since I have been on the Oxycodone/Oxycontin alone now for awhile, when I don't take it as much, the withdrawals are not as bad as when I was switching from the hydrocodone over to the oxycodone's...which leads me to believe that they are very different. Let me know!! Dr's appt. tomorrow! Thanks!
