Oxy Contin Express - Documentary

heh oxy's not hard to come by, just get a mate in chronic pain ;).

Everyone I've known with a script starts out selling them for a few months, then eventually their tolerance goes up and they just start taking them all themselves :(

^ It's always the way isn't it, who can blame them though. I wouldn't be selling any from the get go because I am greedy. (Also because I do not advocate drug dealing at all ;))

Oh yeah I definately don't blame them, especially since everyone I know with a script has a very legitimate need for them. Still sucks though :p

Its a good documentary none the less. Just really comes to show you how greedy and non caring the government can be. Instead of shutting down these centers they rather bust people in front of the center. I know how it all works. The main thing is to get there statistics up. Same as when they go out and put cops posing as fake dealers sellin things to the public n busting them after.

boodha: Nothing is hard to obtain in Australia. In the end it all comes down to who u know. Oxy 80's are indeed hard to obtain even legally but alot of em are diverted.

OC is reasonably popular among people who are into opiates and stuff but it can be quite hard to come by. Doctors in Australia are definately nowhere near as forth coming with painkillers as they are in the US but atleast we have OTC codeine I suppose.

You get oxycontin in Australia, as well as endone (5mg IR) and oxynorm (10mg) but it isn't easy to get scripted. I don't know why there would be a huge difference in the popularity of OC between east and west, I suppose I can see how the larger heroin scene on the east would make opiates in general slightly more popular.

Oh don't worry about your OTC codeine, their well on their way to making that a script only med, soon you wont even be able to hang a shit without asking the correct authority's.

I am sorry and not to sound rude but you are way off there. The government is changing things and are doing quite a bit to stop this. The laws were slack then people figured this out and started taking advantage. Florida is one of the only two states without a prescription monitoring program allowing the doctor shopping. They have lowering the amount which can be given, and my doctor told all of us that next month they drop it down to 120 30's and no breakthroughs which is the 15s. And they are not arresting people outside its not illegal unless they know you are a shopper but they watch the patients to see if they are selling, and look at the news they shut down doctors and arrest them all the time. My last doctor in Jacksonville got raided by the FBI and DEA and they are all facing a long time in prison. And they tried to pass a bill here in Florida where cash paying patients can only get a 3 day supply at a time but it didn't pass. Every month it gets harder and harder. Got a script tuesday and have been going everywhere trying to find them. Its not as easy as it was when the show was made trust me, I was just in Broward county yesterday.
