Hi Bluelighters!

I have gained a lot of knowledge on this site about my DOC. I have a question now too that I hope you can answer.

I take 40mg of oxy every 2 weeks. I also have an almost unlimited supply of T3s (also taken at 60mg every 2 weeks). Is it possible to combine the 2 so as to minimize even further my oxy intake. In other words, would say 30mg of oxy combined with 60mg of codeine produce the same effect, both analgesically and euphorically?

OK, thanks. So its OK to combine the two, orally? I read a post on here that said, "opiate+opiate=bad idea" but with no details or confirmation. Anyone care to submit a second opinion or another confirmation? Thanks to all...

The reason you don't generally combine opiates is becase they can potentiate each other. Also, they get metabolized at 2 different rates and produce a "biphasic" effect with 2 or more peaks. That said, codeine is not very strong at all - and potentiating seems to be exactly what you want to do.

I would start at 30mg oxy and 60-90mg codeine. Try not to exceed 8-10 pills a day (8 if you are American, I think their T3's are stronger than the Canadian ones in terms of APAP) because the Tylenol can get bad for your liver.

There are certain opiates you really should NOT mix. But people are going to do it anyway. IMO those two wouldn't be too harmful too mix if you decide to.
