Could an oxy addiction make a man have little to no interest in sex? I'm not sure exactly how much he uses dsily night I know it's 60+ every day

Im sure Its preferable to becoming a sex crazed self raping beast like on meth lol.

at first when i did oxy i would be able and wanting to fuck for hours and it took that long to climax but as the years went by my sex drive is very weak

I was on large amounts of oxy for my chronic pain for years (about 320-400mgs a day) and I had virtually no interest in sex whatsoever. I did learn however that oxy (and other opiates possibly) lowers a man's testosterone levels and hence, no sex drive. Ultimately, I got switched to Opana ER recently and it doesn't affect my sex drive and performance that much at all. I really believe oxycondone is the worst pain med for that, IMO. If this is your man, I really feel for you but maybe you can catch him before he doses or after it's been in him for awhile. Good Luck!

After becoming a heroin addict....my girlfriend trying to have sex with me became a nuisance lol

Currently i have exactly the same issue.I use dihydrocodeine recreationaly daily and have little to no sexual disire!!!!

I consider it as a benefit from opiate use, am I the only one? :)

Absolutely. In fact, when withdrawing from opiates, people often feel an intense urge to cum via sex or masturbation. This is no joke.

Its a battle that you don't really care to win...or then even fight. I find it doesn't matter what opiates you use; I used heroin, morphine, methadone, tramadol, dihydrocodeine, oyxcodone, fentanyl, hydromorphone. i'm prescribed some of these for chronic pain. Its hard to want to have sex, to get a hard on and then to cum so its really an assault on all of your sex drive. I went out with a heroin addict for about a year and we rarely had sex. We would just get wasted on junk and lie around watching movies.
Now I just try and lay off the opiates for a day or two or go on Suboxone, then spend a day or two a week or fortnight getting it on with my current girlfriend(who doesn't even drink) before going back on the opiates. But as most guys know, you last like 2 seconds when in withdrawal(and even will into PAWS I found) and like I had my first wet dream when I was about 26! so having a strong dose of Codeine cough syrup (Codinex here has 15mg codeine/5ml) or maybe an Oxycontin 40mg to kinda manage to last much longer but not so much that you can't cum and are just there doing it and wanting to stop.

It does indeed lower sex drive. In the beginning opiates use to do the opposite for the g/f and I but now its like "ok tonight we will have sex" try to and give up or just never do it. It upsets her and I cant seem to get her to realize its the drugs shes always saying "yeah but last year we use to do it then have sex now its been months" sure its upsetting but its whatever. The worst part is we will both be horny as we go to pick up knowing that if we just had sex before hand it would work and we plan to but then once we get back its heroin time and we can not hold off the 30 minutes.

Enjoy sex on opiates while it lasts, soon youll be making excuses to avoid it if your SO is still into it or isnt on the drugs.

After taking various opiates/opioids for years, I had my testosterone checked, as I too had no sex drive..and my blood level was 50 ng/dl, whereas the normal male levels are 300-1000. From what I've been told by my doctors, this is not unusual, and now have a replacement script along with all the others.

So yeah, opi's will ruin sex drive for sure, but it's treatable. Keep in mind that if he decides to go that route, and continues to take a lot of oxy, his sex drive will probably not return to 'normal,' but it's worth a try.

Because opiates are CNDs they slow the functions of the body down i belive, so it would make perfect sense that it would cause erection difficulties. But im sure it would make logical sense to return after disscontinuation. If not i would seek medical attention.I alwayz find exersize helps me 90/ percent so maybe try that.Good luck buddie and dont be to HARD!!!!!on yourself lol sorry could,nt resist serious good luck fella!!!! ;-)
