Oxicotin vs Heroin

Ok, here's my question, Heroin is branded as being a much worse drug then oxicotin but when i read about them it seems as if they are almost the same. I have never done Heroin as it is not very accessible to a 16 year old in a decent sized town, not to mention that i'm totally against sticking needles in my arm. But I have tried oxicotin and the experience has been great. I hear that Heroin is more europhic? Is this true? So my main question is what are the differences between the two.

I personally enjoy OxyContin more then I enjoy heroin .. and to be correct, heroin isnt a "dangerous drug" but it's a drug that simply must be handeled with care - in terms of effects, it doesnt cause any neurologic damage or physical harm... of course abusing the drug and turning into a junkie can lead to a lifestyle that doesnt lend itself well good personal healthcare, but the drug itself isnt as "evil" as the media makes it out to be... now there is also something to be said for "heroin" as purchased on the street - yes, it CAN be cut with things that ARE "dangerous" ... on the same note, if you are looking to inject OxyContin (and dont properly prepare it which involves using NO HEAT) then it can be DAMN DANGEROUS - not the oxycodone but some of the other shit in the pill...
If you're going to stick to snorting then it's about the same in terms of harm caused - you're damaging your nose, but snorting ANYTHING will do that...
Is heroin "more euphoric" - it depends on who you ask, in my personal opinion I find oxycodone to be more euphoric... but thats just me, many differ...
 
I have far more experience with oxycontin than heroin, but I would say heroin is superior as its high lasts quite abit longer. Oxycontin is also less sedating than heroin, but for me thats a negative.
 
Thanks for the responses, after reading your FAQ Phreex I thought you were against injecting Oxicotin? Anyway I don't want to bother with needles, I usually either snort it or just break it up and put it in an empty gel cap.
Also how much more Oxicotin would you have to take if you were wanting to use the 8-12 hour time release?
Also snorting oxicotin 4 times a month for a year, what kind of damage is that going to do to my nose? Should i just parachute it? after doing opiates for about two months my nose bled bad about 3 times but hasn't been bothering me lately. How much better is snorting than parachuting. thanks for all the help.
I don't want to get into the media's bias of heroin it's is so one sided it makes me want to puke.
 
Lets see...
1) Don't inject OxyContin... you can but there is a special way to do it...
2) As I said, some enjoy one more then the other, personally I enjoy Oxy more..
3) 4 times a month for a year? Naaa, while it's not helping your nose it's not doing that much harm...
4) If you have NO TOLLERANCE to opioids and you take a 40mg OC orally, you will be feeing mighty fine for about 6-8 hours .. maybe even a 20 - I dunna, it really depends on you..
 
Snorting stuff 4 times a month isn't going to really harm you in the long term. There are a lot of people on this board who snort their drug of choice 4 times a day for years before damage starts becoming evident.
 
Oxycontin is alot better in my mind. Simply because you know your product isnt cut with dirty street garbage(even though i hear rumors of fake oxys being made) and I just enjoy the high so much better.
Heroin hits you alot harder at first and gives you the "rush" that you see in the movies but the extent of the high isnt as good as oxy.
Just watch it with oxy because you could start at 20mg and be blissed and then 6 days later you'll need 6times as much. All in all oxycontin is still my favorite drug and with a decent supply it will become yours too.
 
i fell in love with oxy's. i got bad on them. i have been of for about a year now.i thought oxys were much better than heroin. they gave me so much energy.

Question: I've always heard opiates in general are almost harmless in terms of physical and neurological sense, but when in rehab they had all these pictures of the brains of drug users. The Heroin users brain was looked odd, but then again they didn't have a picture of a normal brain to compare too. Is this just a bunch of B.S. crap put up by anti-drug movement, or is it just flawed like many ecstasy pictures (ie. more than one drug used at the same time). Could it be caused by the 'cuts' that are used in heroin? Is there any truth to these pictures or just more crap?

but is it really that much better than parachuting?
Also I'm worried about the tolerance but will probably do it only 4 times a month, as this is what i've been doing with hydrocodone and there is more tolerance but it seems to of leveled out. So are there any occasional users of oxicotin and how has tolerance effected them? thanks for all the help guys
 
Is oxycontin a pescription drug? What angle do you have to take with the doctor to try and get some prescribed...
Please excuse the n00bness of my question as the only pharmecuticals that I use are mainly diaz's etc.

Dear god now I *really* understand why we don't allow OC threads.
On the brain 'images'. No one really has any idea what these mean. Every time you see a brain scan that isn't claiming very restricted results (thinking about 3d objects causes more blood to flow to these specific regions) you can bet it is BS. Moreover you have no idea what these things mean, showing them to non-experts is purely a snow tactic.
Also while long term heroin users often have brain damage from loss of oxygen (inject too much and have minor ODs) this is both preventable and just as real a danger with OCs.
 
to me I personally like Heroin better. it feels like it is a cleaner high. ironic huh that a street drug feels cleaner tan a pharmy. but to each his own!
one comment to phreex's post. don't start off with 40mgs. If you are an opiate virgin or just a beginer that's just pushing your tolerance up from the get go.
to get perscribed Oxycontin you must first get a doc who wants to put you on opiate therapy, then it will take a few years before you get the contin!
 
ilike OXYCPONTIN better...u know what you are getting with every dose..its not cut up with other "shit" so no worry there...
i will say as far as shooting up, HEROIN blows OXYCONTIN away...the high lasts longer and is better, more euphoric...
as far as snorting goes, i would go with OXYCONTIN as again u know what u are snorting and the feeling is "cleaner"...i feel more energetic off OXY, as where HEROIN i need some type of stimulant almost if im going to get up and actually do something...
its really too fucking bad all these 16 year old kids snorted up a table ful off oXY, drank a pint of VODKA, popped some XANAX, and then OD'd, cuz the blame fell on the OCS, thus making it more expensive and harder to get now...thanks all you fucking naive fucking bedwetters...
as with ALL OPIATES, know what you are getting into, dont be naive and think you are complete master and nothing can phase you and u can control it...
as far as brain scans, are you guys talking about scans of brains with lower/higher dopamine levels???explain..
 
yea i do feel that Oxicotin doesn't slow me down until the comedown really...
but i would disagree on us 16's year olds giving oxicotin such a bad name. I would think that i use drugs more responsibly than the majority of adults, NEVER during school, NEVER at work, never at important events, i don't get stoned every chance i get, and I don't mix drugs unless it's just some bud.
In contrast it seems that a lot of the media articles are 20+ year olds who rob pharmacies for the stuff, use fake perscriptions, murder ect. ect. for the drug, i don't know that's just the way i've seen it.
