I have two Oxycontins tablets both are 40mg, I have taken semi synthetic opiates before mainly fentanyl, My tolerance is very high as I was abusing that however I have not take any opiates in over 3 months ( other than my bupe presciption however I'm currently on 1 x 0.4mg a day and almost finished tapering )
Long story short, Will 40mg be enough for its intended use, pain relief, I don't want to abuse it but keep it for a day when I am in shit tons of pain, like when I broke my foot and the hospital gave me 8mg/500mg Cocodamols :(

Also, what side effects can I expect? Will it give me anything similar to the ones on Fentantyl, You know the typical feeling really comfy and just generally not giving a fuck followed by a really deep sleep?

I do apologise if this is the wrong section, I'm new!

Kind Regards

Everything I say is a lie

It should be. The oxycontins are pretty much 1/2 the labeled dosage, but spread out over 8-12 h. 20-30mg of instant release is a pretty good dose for pain relief for someone with pre-existing tolerance, so a single OC 40 will work fine.

Be careful, if you start taking opioids again you can end up in a serious pit. Oxycodone is every bit as addictive as the stronger opiods like fentanyl... It provides all the typical opioid effects.

Thanks for the reply, Don't worry I wont fall into that hole again, With the fentanyl I had literally enough for every person in my town to have a dosage (over 1million hits) however with these I literally only have two of them, For emergency excess pain!

The problem I had with fent was that I had an unlimited supply for free, this Oxy shit is pricey and I only have it as a friend didn't want it.

I appreciate the warning tho, Opiates are not a joke and should be treated with respect.
How long will it take for the effects to kick in, I have no intention of messing with the tablets (taking off the coating etc) I'm guessing the slow release means over several hours then?
Sorry for the noob questions :)

Peace

The OCs should kick in like normal, after 20-40 minutes. They aren't super slow release, just extended release. A little bit of the OC releases instantly.
