I have took oxycontin for 12 urs & have never been high & havenever had any withdrawal systoms.I took 3 ----- 40mg a day & never felt anything.someone please explainthis if possible.Jimdandy

Yes, this is possible. I had a friend (who has since passed away) who was the same way. He had a hyperactive liver enzyme which would eat drugs before they would get to his brain - he would literally have to IV something like oxycodone to get a high out of it, or eat several hundred milligrams, a dosage which would kill non-opiate-dependent users.

Why don't you tell us some more about yourself instead of just asking a basic question connected to drugs? The basic drug questions belong in BDD aka Basic Drug Discussion.
