First off I would like to say thank you to the Blue Light forum for supplying me with hours of good reading, you guys are among the smartest group I've ever come across in any forum setting. But I have created this account for this one report, and wanting to tap into your brains to possibly help my friend out.
My roommate has an incredibly addictive personality. She was introduced by another friend to whip-its less than a week ago (kicking the person in the face now, imaginatively) and in the last two days has done over 100 cartridges all from a local p0rn shop (kicking the cashier in the face, imaginatively, for allowing 3 separate transactions in one night.) Her reasoning is that "it helps with my kidney stones" though it is obvious N20 in this form is not an effective pain reliever. Keep in mind though, that if I were around I would have stopped her in one way or another a long time ago but unfortunately I work 4 days straight away from home and was not present.
I got home from work last night and she was already at it again, finishing off one more box of chargers, doing two at a time. I noticed something peculiar while in the 10 second long "euphoric" state: she jerks slightly at the shoulders, neck and some facial muscles, seemingly involuntarily, in a repetitive and cycling matter. First time I saw this my medical alarms went off yelling "SEIZURE!" Her reasoning was "no, I was just adjusting my body because my kidney stones cause pain to shoot up my back and into my fingertips" yadda yadda yadda.. However to me she appears to simply black out.
Now, the reason I'm posting this.. She did two at a time while standing up and conversing. After blowing out the last of the balloon, she trailed off and again went through the cycling involuntary movements of the face, neck and shoulders but more intensive than before with rapid breathing. "SEIZURE!", my intuition screamed again, and before I could react intervene she fell to her side and smacked her head on a bookshelf- but it wasn't her "losing footing" as she explains. She simply passed out and TOPPLED over, a la Chris Farley in Tommy Boy after his bong hit (I know, stupid analogy, but it's the only cinematic thing I can equate it to.) She gets very defensive when I disagree with her in saying she is losing consciousness, she keeps saying "no it's my kidney stones!" when anybody with an IQ over 65 would know kidney stones have absolutely nothing to do with this situation. It's almost as though her mind creates an alternate reality to cover up the time of complete disconnect.. Ridiculous sounding I know, but she's always been a little crazy like that.
So in closing, can someone please help put some reason into this girl? I know what I'm seeing, I've seen seizures big and small dozens of times in my line of work, but I cannot equate my thoughts to intelligent dialogue with her. If you read this far, THANK YOU!!
