overrated vs underrated experiences

The mods clearly don't mind the sex talk. However if I criticize the quality of content, I should be able to do so, as it's just as on topic as sex.
 
Not a drug per se but I've always thought words are really overrated. In movies and stuff they make it seem like the most incredible experience on earth, and they way most people obsess over it...I was really disappointed in it.

7th day of methamphetamine = underrated, most people just can't handle it
ghb+meth = underrated, you cannot handle the euphoria if you underrate it

Also on the hallucinogenic side San Pedro is awesome but moon flowers are way too strong for me and i have only exp bad trips on that, so won't recommend it to any one. Next on my list is an ayahuasca trip/journey

I feel like books are VERY underrated these days. Finding a really good book is one of the greatest and most simple pleasures in life.
 
Were those folks pointed towards Private Messages because the thread was drifting from the original topic (or was it?) or because of increasing probabilities of salty language?

Either I am misunderstanding the lore or benzodiazepines' potential for euphoria may be overrated . . . I have used them as anti-spasmodics and to counter insomnia so maybe the dose is wrong? I especially like Mogodon (nitrazepam) because it slows my system down quickly and dramatically and is quite an opioid potentiator. Nitrazepam and tetrazepam (Mylostan) are the ones I use for this purpose, but prefer meprobamate and carisoprodol for that and was a huge fam of Loads/Dors & Fours (albeit with eight 30 mg tablets of codeine hydrochloride) and other glutethimide-codeine type prodrug opiate combinations. I fondly remember thebacon + glutethimide + phenindamine and/or tripelennamine. Taking codeine and glutethimide on an empty stomach felt like shooting morphine. Morphine and tripelennamine are called Blue Velvet and is the living end. Thebacon is acetylated hydrocodone. Phenindamine is the antihistamine which William S Burroughs told his wife felt like morphine when he got a shot of it at the Lexingtron Narcotics Farm as retold in Junky. It is related to cyproheptadine and called Therphorin and Nolahist. Therefore, it worked very well to wash down the above with tea and carbonated water.

Glutethimide did in fact create euphoria by itself, even better than what I experienced with secobarbitone, pentobarbitone & dextroamphetamine, ethchlorvynol, methyprylon, and so on. Of course, it was not at the level of methaqualone. Chloral hydrate and paraldehyde suck. Clomethiazole is something I would like to see again.

The problem I have encountered with diazepam and chlordiazepoxide is residual sedation for up to 60 hours.
 
@ Nicomorphinst.. I if can add my own personal input when it comes to benzos for purely the sedative affect (insomnia use ) I find that the following helps me a lot.

Nitrazepam
Flurazepam
Triazolam
Temazepam
Diazepam
Alprozalam

But from the aboved mentioned my top three is still nitrazepam, flurazepam and triazolam

Tho there are other meds I find usefull for insomnia when we talking benzos strictly, those are my top three of choice.
