Overdose reverse symptoms

Mostly, you read how people have OD symptoms of respiratory depression, turning blue, blacking out, etc. but is it possible to have reverse symptoms?

Racing heart
Rapid Breathing
Vomiting
Normal pupils
Patient has onset of symptoms within 15 minutes of last dose of oxycodone, but even with high tolerance, did a total of 90-100mg of oxycodone within 8 hr period.


My nurse friend told me of these OD symptoms for someone who did too much oxycodone with no benzos, or other meds in the mix.

perhaps a paradoxical reaction?
I dropped 20mg of Ativan once and 2 days later the blackout ended so i freaked out because i didn't remember the last few days so my brother drove me to the ER to get checked out.
the nurses initially didn't believe me that i was on benzos they thought i was on crack or meth, then my tox screen showed otherwise.

It sounds really dismissive, but it could be a panic attack. They're actually pretty serious things and can be caused by all sorts of substances and experiences.
