Outgrowing Stimulants?

i've been using amphs for more than 2 years now, other than tolerance i'm quite satisfied, i still dont like opiates unless i'm mixing them with amphetamines.
and adderall is the mids of pharm amps, dirty nasty weak shit IMO...
only thing i really really dislike other than comedowns (and most of the time i dont use benzos or anything for that, i've gotten used to dealing with comedowns/next day after being up all night stimulation so its nto too much of a problem for me.)
nope, my only problem with stimulants is i need like 150mg dexedrine to get real hardcore tweaking most of the time, to get the euphoria and not just stimulation, and my tolerance doesn't drop much if i lay off for 2-3 weeks it seems to me..
or 150mg over an hour or two, i never dose less than 100mg anymore..
IME/IMO it seems with stims after you start to build a decent tolerance and start using at least once a week, thats where you either "outgrow" them and just switch, or you just go harder on em and learn to deal with the BS comedowns and get used to the side effects/non high effects of stims. I never saw the point in using every day though like smoe people use amphs every day, i generally dont stay up more than a night anymore...

I have definitely outgrown stimulants. I used to abuse the shit out of coke, crack, meth, etc but i just don't care for the high anymore. Just makes me edgy and paranoid, not sociable at all. I used to be a full fledged crack addict for a few years there and thought I would never break free from the chains of crack cocaine. Somewhere along the way I grew a taste for opiates and that slowly became my DOC. Then I became a full blown junkie, and you couldn't PAY me to do some speed or crack. A big reason I found, is the stimulants sped up my metabolism so much the opiate would go out of my system in, like, 6-8hrs AND I would be up all night, so by the morning I would be dope sick as all hell, coming down off speed or crack, with no money to boot! Not AT ALL a pleasant feeling, I spend about 6 months doing this before finally realizing I would probably never touch stimulants again.

Now I am on methadone so I don't have to worry so much about being dope sick, but my taste for stimulants is totally gone.
