Benzos out of xanax but have klonopin

sup guys



i have been prescribed benzos for the last year and the last couple of weeks i was prescribed 2 mgs of xanax and im down to one i cant get my prescriptionn filled untill next week i was wondereing if it was ok to take klonopin to avoid withdrawls for a few days when they switched my meds before i didnt have to taper off the old i just jumped right in so what should i do?

Just make sure you take the same amount of Klonopin. If you were taking 2mg of Xanax, take 1mg of Klonopin every 12 hours or take it morning and before bed... It has a much longer half life than Xanax so you don't have to take it as often.

Much less recreational but longer duration and yes it should prevent you from WD'ing just the same.
