Trust me, you can definitely still buy blends at your local cornerstore. There are literally hundreds of synthetic cannabinoids still available legally. Source discussion is not allowed, but you can definitely find the pure chemicals if you care to look. It's easy enough to make your own blends from some generic herbs and the chemicals.
