When I first started taking addies, blue 10mg, all was great. Even shed 10-15 pounds. Currently (3 years later), I take about 140mg a day (or more but reduced it from about 220mg) I have gained weight (maybe 20 lbs). I'm a moose. But a sexy 6 foot moose. LLS!!! But I pretty much don't eat. I try to make myself eat because I know my body is holding onto the fat since Im not eating. But gracious, does anyone have a daily eating plan to keep the addies from having adverse effects? Oh, I also take Klonopin, pint Vodka once every 3 days, zoloft. I'd add that good loud green, but the judge put me on papers!!!!!! 8)

I am having the same issues. I have been taking 60mg adderal, 100mg zoloft regularly for maybe 5 years now. I started gaining weight after i transferred schools, maybe like ten lbs the first year and another 25 lbs just last semester. I had blood work done after realizing how much weight i gained in such little time, and all normal. I attribute it to the unhealthy lifestyle that i have adopted recently. I think my sleep patterns had a huge impact and i am considering going off zoloft. Is your circadian rhythm off too? I used to starve myself all day and then eat before passing out. Now I am trying to get breakfast in every morning and during the day when I am not hungry, i drink lemon honey water, vegetable juice and fruit smoothies.

^Delta is right, I've been on Stims for years, and frequent opioid type drug use.
I hardly ever ate, once a day max.
But when my add doc put me on SSRI's because he thought I had depression, I started gaining weight uncontrollably, even eating once every other day (very small meals) I could not stop gaining weight. I even forced myself to eat 3x a day, with good nutrition, and plenty excercise. STILL gained weight.

Simply put, drugs like Zoloft can cause rapid, or constant weight gain.

I hope this helps, good luck, and be safe.(:
