Pretty much. We also have other real life jobs and classes and social activities and, well, sleeping ;)

and tricomb, its the International Access Code, then +43 (UK Country Code) and then the number
 
International cell phone calling isn't very cheap at all, even doing it on a landline isn't either. Unless you're using some VoIP service. But nobody has that shit...well, some people do, but eh... phone cards (or Skype) are your friends.
 
I just wanted to say that both myself and the entire team was very VERY impressed with the applications we got. Any one of the applicants would make a great moderator, and to be honest, I feel downright spoiled being able to choose from such a fine pool of candidates. If you don't get it this time, please, please stay involved in bluelight and other drugs because if any one of you applies again, you will be foremost in our minds next round.

Beyond the modspot, I know from getting to know you all through your applications, that you are what makes bluelight what it is, and despite what this rediculous thread (reality tv is right) might have you think, you are the important members and core of Bluelight, not the moderators.



On Monday or Tuesday, you will receive a PM letting you know whether or not you were chosen - that means everyone, so don't worry if you still haven't heard from us, you will either way.

If I had more spots to give, I absolutely would. This is a very hard choice as all my fellow mods will tell you.

One time we brought on 3 mods at once in another forum and 2 out of the 3 blew up in our faces within a couple months. You don't want to upset the existing dynamics too much and you do want to preserve consistency and the integrity of the forum. Too much change in a short period can really have detrimental effects on a forum, especially one as busy as OD, so it's essential to make sure transitions are smooth by not overwhelming the kitchen with too many new cooks at once ;)
