Hi....
I'm a longtime (unfortunate but hey.....I've learned to accept myself as is) methadone/opiate user and occasional abuser ......over the years I have noticed a serious difference in generics concerning strength/efficacy.....though docs and pharmacists swear there is no difference.....I've tested and found that there is absolutely a lack of quality control or deliberate tweakings in original formulas.

I finally managed to kick the methadone clinic/ball and chain out of my life and am currently being prescribed fentanyl (Sandoz 12mc) which I'm using two at a time (with doc's permission and is highly effective.....).... realizing I'd run out early, I acquired some Apotex 50's which were not as strong as Sandoz .....in fact I put on one patch, waited and put on a second patch.....which seemed to be about the same as two Sandoz 12's......having experienced other drug strength discrepancies, didn't surprise me but pisses me off nonetheless.....Anyone out there that can shed light on the best generic as Sandoz seems good, but I've had negative experience with MYLAN when it comes to various other drugs and it seems to be everywhere, unfortunately.....
Any insight would be appreciated....

Hi, Welcome to Bluelight!

I'll move your thread to another forum in hope you'll receive some support, or insight. :)

I'm sorry, as much as I'd like to help you, we can't discuss pill ID/branding. I've made the same mistake too back in the day

This is true ^. Congrats on kicking the methadone, and feel free to discuss your experience..

Part of your post is okay, but members can't give you advice on best generic drugs. :)
