Oregon Receiver Fired Over Facebook Post.....

The coach of the Oregon football team has fired wide receiver Jamere Holland after he wrote an expletive-filled post on Facebook. The post came after Hoolland mistakenly thought linebacker Kristian Kiko Alonso had been released from the team.

Alonso was arrested this weekend for DUI. He remains on the team. Holland said that his being kicked off the team was unfair and damaging to the ducks. He then later posted: "I wish I could block whites as friends and only have blacks LOL..."

Because "apparently I´m misunderstood". Oregon did not confirm that it was because of the Facebook post, but coach Chip Kelly said: "I won´t get into the specifics, but you´re smart enough to figure it out."

why is it that after a team loses to Ohio State in a BCS bowl game they seem to fall apart.

I want to point and yell at both parties - for the football team for firing somebody over a Facebook post (how Draconian) and for the dumbass kid posting that where everybody can see.
