Bluelighter
Sensations shifting, moving, rolling
TV droning bombarding my ear drums
An ordinary day
Full of ordinary people
Just this much
This moment
Just all this slipping from my fingers
Rolling out of my mind
something nagging, some piece waiting for something
Just another subtle desire
For what
Just this much
These feelings are all that is happening
There's no where to run
But there seems to me someone who wants something else
Just my heart beat
My pulse
Just this breath
Nothing ecstatic
Absolute revery absent
But its ok, just letting meaningless be
Makes this moment meaningful
I think
Or I just tell myself
Cartoon figurines
Spitting out way to fast lines
ADD crazed eyes yelling, running
As time fly's
But really its ok
Until I tell myself its not
This hard-oak desk
Cluttered with junk from days past
This stone still snowman
Colored on by my flamboyant 5 year old sister
These items so ordinary their presence overlooked
A smoothie card punched with holes
Strewn about pieces each with memories and associations
Not much to say
On this ordinary day
TV droning bombarding my ear drums
An ordinary day
Full of ordinary people
Just this much
This moment
Just all this slipping from my fingers
Rolling out of my mind
something nagging, some piece waiting for something
