Ordered a new pill with 50mg MPA and 50 Mg 5-meo-dalt- Need help :=

Ordered a new pill with 50mg MPA and 50 Mg 5-meo-dalt, now i am wondering if it is safe when i am on a SSRI at the moment.. As far as i can see Mpa shouldnt be a problem, but im unsure for 5-meo-dalt. Im on 30 mg Paxil daily.

No you do not want to take this when on Paxil.

I wrote nearly this exact same post out a couple weeks ago on Drugs-Forum. This is a potentially dangerous combination that could lead to Serotonin Syndrome when used in combination with the Serotonin releasing drugs mentioned above. Risk of Serotonin Syndrome is a very real possibility. If you're really going to take this - stop taking a paxil at least 24 hours before you're going to dose.

I don't see any point. You are on an antidepressant for a reason. You would get no effect, besides they are rc's, who knows if it's MPA or 5-meo-dalt
