FRIDAY – SATURDAY – SUNDAY
July 8-10, 2005
ONTARIO, CANADA

Once again, the biggest, best and longest running festival of its kind touches down in Ontario, Canada. We promise the ultimate music weekend featuring hundreds of performers from around the world. Continuing the tradition that began at the very start of the electronic music scene, Destiny returns with its boldest production to date and very special milestone - our 50th major event!

Over the past decade, some of the biggest names in dance music have graced the stages of WEMF. In total, over 200 artists are booked for 2005. Two main stages cater to Trance, House, Techno, Breaks, DnB & Jungle with smaller sub stages providing hardcore, psychedelic and ambient beats to complete the full spectrum of electronic dance sounds.

Traveling to WEMF each year has become the thing to do for those who want an experience of a lifetime. In the past decade, well over 100,000 people have experienced the WEMF phenomenon. License plates from 20 states and 5 provinces were observed last year and buses were chartered from across the Northeast. If electronic music is your thing then this is your event!

I am now officially paying attention to this event. Might be my best chance to catch Astral Projection relatively close to home :D.

Not sure who else would be up for the road trip, but I'm circling this date on the calendar now.

I am thinking about going this year. To anyone that has gone in the past, I was wondering what this party is like. Any info would be great. I am very impressed with the D n B arena and the main stage has a pretty nice lineup as well. It sounds like it would be fun.

Last year was my first time.....and there was no question as to if i would go this year.

The lineup is what most of the dcm people asked for.....can't complain about the lineup at all

Party is similair to parties in NYC in like 2001....great times.....awesome people....hard beats.....best party

You should go at least once. Although I have a wedding to attend this year, and I am past doing the whole three days, I would go back. Beware: because this is at a new venue every year, LE response varies. Peel Region police (which includes Orangeville, I think) are notoriously anti-rave. At least they were three years ago when people last tried to throw a big event in that area.

If things go well, there's nothing like partying under the stars, or even a huge hangar.

well i had a blast!!!!!!!!

omar santana, liberator and the drummer owned that is all :)
