@Kurt Cobain Does it dissolve easily in water?
Most mitragynine extracts are, like you said, tan powders. They are generally somewhere in the 60-80% mitragynine range, with some people full spectrum extracts (for instance, 76% mitragynine, with the rest being other kratom alkaloids). All tan mitragynine extracts I've had were insoluble in water, so they appear to be in freebase form. I either pour it directly in my mouth or dissolve in propylene glycol and dose as a liquid.
Recently I did see some mitragynine extract in the 70% range for sale that was described as being in "salt form". I actually bought some some but UPS lost the package. The picture was tan.
I have bought crude black or sometimes orange shiny crystalline kratom extracts, but they were low potency, perhaps water based extracts, and appeared to be in "salt form".
If its black/brown/orange than its probably low potency full spectrum extracts. Of course some 7OH extracts are orange, but its very unlikely that the vendor would accidentally send you 7OH extract instead.
Again my guess is that what you have is a crude full spectrum kratom extract (I wouldn't even call it a mitragynine extract, since that suggests an attempt to preferentially extract mitragynine). Its probably just a plain old school full spectrum kratom extract. That's probably why the recommended dosing is so high.
Hopefully you didnt pay the same as you did for the tan mitragynine extract!
