Cocaine Orange Crack?

About a week ago I picked up 2 grams of some good cocaine from my dealer, when in the car he asked me if I wanted to smoke some rock, so we drove to a low-key area.
Anyways we threw a half G in the spoon with some baking soda and a little bit of water and cooked it up, after most of it had been cooked away the freebase turned into a orange-y paste, this kind of threw me off. Did it turn orange because it wasn't cooked good? Could it have been due to a cut? It was good shit none the less
 
We can only speculate as to why your crack cut was orange and it isn't productive, nor especially beneficial with respect to harm reduction, so I'm going to close this now.
