Opioids Orange 60mg/N on the other side morphine?

I'm thinking of popping this 60mg pill of what I believe is morphine, I've done research and believe it's morphine, will it be safe to chew 60mg down at once for first time user? I've used opiates before

How are you a first time user if you have used before?

EDIT: Anywayz... wiki says 60mg oral morphine is equal to about 41mg oral oxycodone.. so if you can handle that than you're all set.

I've used oxys, I'm supposing to your answer that it's safe to take 60mg of morphine, I'm currently on suboxone but haven't dosed I'm over 30 hrs
 
1. oral morphine has a bio-availability, of like, almost nothing
2. It is probably time release anyway, so your only getting half the dose

So you tell me if it's safe??? And I really don't think this is a good use of server space at all, much less of "other drugs"...

chill out, this site is to promote people taking an interest in their health and making sure less people fuck up from drug abuse, and if that means asking a question you already know the answer to then so be it, im sure almost everyone on this site would agree that they would rather see a question that could have been answered with the search engine than another name in the bluelight shrine.

don't act as a deterrent to safety that is not justifiable.
 
Morphine really isn't that good a drug, unless you inject it. If you just have 60mg, it will likely do very, very little, to the point that you're unlikely to feel any effects other than itch. If you're not squeamish, i'd suggest plugging it
 
I love morphine & first time I popped 50mgs SR, I was so high......my eyelids were almost closed & my legs felt like jelly. It could me just me that morphine gives me such great effects.......I snorted it a few times after taking orally & find that snorting it gives me euphoria & sedation at the same time which I like. Orally I dont get any euphoria, good luck & have fun.......

Morphine isn't "a waste" if you don't shoot it, don't say that. It's still a powerful opioid (don't become a smartass and be like "ya, well I do 48mg Dilaudid/day...that's not average) even if it is 1/4 the potency as IV.
 
^^^ I wouldn't call morphine a "powerful" opiate. Only IV is it considered strong, anyone who has even minor opiate experience who DOES NOT IV will tell you oxycodone is far superior to morphine. In fact, morphine sucks at crossing the blood brain barrier. That is why heroin is so much better, as it penetrates the BBB superbly.

Note that I am not encouraging IV use; but I am encouraging the truth. Morphine by any route besides IV is a subpar opiate at best. In fact, any medical literature you read, as well as opiod comparison charts/calculators all consider oral morphine and parental morphine 2 different drugs becuase of the substantial difference, something they do with no other opiate. That's because IV morphine not only increases BA, but just provides a different experience altogether. In my opinion, most of the morphine based drugs, for example morphine, hydromorphone, and even oxymorphone are literally useless by any route other than IV, though I am certainly "out of the bell curve", as my roomate likes to say :)

But if you don't IV, yet still want a decent experience from your morphine, rectal is the next logical way to go...

I beg to differ. The first time I got my hands on a 15mg Morphine pill, I was FUCKED. Especially with my current opiate tolerance.
 
^^^ I am guessing it was an IR? In any case, your tolerance must have been very low, as 15mg oral morphine is roughly 3-4mg injected, which would be like 20mg hydrocodone. Though there is a chance your body doesn't metabolize morphine well, in which case, you would get a better effect than the average population...
 
yeah lorne667 is right, plugging morphine is about the only decent way to experice it without IV'ing, although IMO morphine is a shitty drug, i personally think tramadol is much better than morphine when both are ingested.

also as a word of warning: sometimes plugging can take a while to kick in, it once took a couple hours for me, and i was considering a re-dose, thank fuck i didnt cause i was knocked the fuck out when it did kick in, and make sure you evacuate your bowels as your feaces can absorb the morphine and then it becomes an even shittier drug.
