Oral ketamine solution

Does anyone have experience with oral ketamine solution (50mg per 5ml)?

Drying it out to get crystal isn't an option - it just leaves a sticky residue on the plate. How safe would it be to IM it?

That is 10 mg/ml, for a 100 mg dose you would need to IM 10 ml which is a LOT, like 10x normal.
Also you would need to get it sterile before you can inject it.

Not sure how much you have but it just sounds like you need to improve on your 'cooking' technique to convert it properly. Can you list the ingredients of the solution? I guess if there are sticky additives cooking is out of the question, like you are hinting at.
(Also it's quite likely you cannot inject those additives so definitely don't do that before checking in here)

Ehhh, yeah we need to hear the ingredients before anything else, it's quite possible the formula doesn't allow much else besides oral use. Or you would have to extract it.
 
The label is ripped but from what I can see:

Ketamine hydrochloride 57.65mg in 5ml
[obscured bit] ...nine base 50mg in 5ml
[obscured bit] ...syrup, glycerol and vanillin
[obscured bit] preserved with methyl and propyl
[label missing here] ...xybenzoates.

My cooking technique is fine, I've just never come across this oral stuff before.
 
Cheers for the replies - as I expected really. Taking it orally is such a waste, you need half a bottle (500mg) to even slightly feel it, and then it's nowhere near as good as IM or insufflation.

Do you have experience with ketamine? If you do have plenty experience, I'd IV it, try 80mg of s isomer or 160mg of racemic ketamine. IM'ing over 10ml of solution could be a little painful, I'd personally be worried about damaging tissue. Oral ketamine is useless (IV>IM>insufflated>rectal>oral).

Edit: Reading about those additives, I'd just dump it in the trash or find someone who can use it orally in sub-threshold dosages for it's antidepressant activity. Might brighten up a friend's life considerably with that.
 
I have extensive experience of ketamine, and a monster tolerance. :(

I tried IMing, 6ml in each thigh. I tried IVing, 20ml split into two 10ml doses a few minutes apart. Sadly I find IV ketamine far too short.

I may get another bottle or two for my collection. =]

I didn't even know K was prescribed for pain relief in this country, I was pleasantly surprised to find it is.
 
What country are you in if I may ask? This sounds a lot like the amphetamine solution for oral use they sell over here in Germany. I guess the idea is that people should be discouraged to IV it, so you'd better check the exact ingredients once you get a fresh bottle.
 
this may sound a bit wacky--and i have never tried, but i have known people that swear you can smoke ketamine. before the preform wave hit, they would dip cigarettes into vials and smoke them. i dont know how effective this is, but it might be stronger than taking it orally if all else fails...
 
There was a wacky thread made by this weird poster DXMKid420 about smoking ketamine and a few people spoke about it. I think Shambles or possibly Solipsis commented on trying it before and said it was terribly disgusting and wasteful as did the OP I believe.

Yeah I've tried it, too. It might be okay when you have ketamine freebase, but smoking the HCl salt is extremely nasty. Tastes awful, only very slight dissociation felt. It's just not realistic to smoke enough (fast enough) for a good dose.

Edit: The freebase is supposed to be pretty damn caustic. So I wouldn't try smoking that either.

Oral ketamine is a waste and the high dose required is bad for your bladder. Forget about separating the ketamine from the rest of the contents. I would not IM and definitely NOT IV sugars, flavor agents and preservatives. Sublingual and rectal administration shouldn't be ruled out however.
