Mods- no hurt feelings if you think this thread is worthless
basically I just wanted to dispell the myth (IMO) of oral hydromorphone being so worthless. Doing any search for dilaudid or hydromorphone you will get a bunch of people talkin about how amazing it is to inject (and I have little doubt this is true) accompanied by the overall opinion that it is just crap when insuffated or taken orally.
For a serious opiate user orally probably isnt very practical with dilaudid, particularly because they are kinda scarce and it would take a ton of those little 4mg pills.
However for those with little tolerance, like myself, they do the job just fine. Taking orally 2.5 4mg pill and snorted the other 1/2 and I was quite impressed. It felt like over 30mg hydrocodone and hit hard enough to where I was having a little trouble walking- which under 30 mg hydrocodone has never done to me. So I found them to be quite under-rated.
Now if it takes an oxy 80 for you to even think about feeling something, then dilaudid orally prob isnt for you.
anyone else had a pleasant experience with oral/nasal administration?
