oral drug testing - how recently will it detect weed?

don't hate me for cross-posting...I put this in the Drug Basics and haven't gotten a single reply. And I have searched for it already on BL and didn't find much. Erowid didn't have anything at all on it.

So the question is - prospective job will be asking for an oral test on Tuesday (swabbing the mouth), and I wanted to know how recently it will detect weed usage. I've heard that it only detects usage within the past 36 hours, as it's supposedly designed to look for recent use instead of remnants in the system, but I haven't been able to confirm this anywhere.

Any help is gladly appreciated (and encouraged).

Friends have told me three days, though i cant vouch for that. I had been clean for several months when i took mine.

This probably wont help much, but my pothead friend took one and was clean for about 3 days before he took it. He passed. He also gave me a bullshit story about how he chews his mouth and that's why he passed.
