One often forgets the subtlty of an opiate experience. Some people are very keen to notice the opiate's effects, and take to liking them immediately. Others don't really "get" opiates for the first few times, or sometimes for even longer than that. Opiates are subtle, even when they're intense. That is a weird concept, but it is very true. Don't go on to stronger opiates or higher doses, just wait a little while, and try about the same dose (or even less), and go into with a very unexpecting mindset. Let the opiate roll over you.
Tis is totally true and I sort of touched on that earlier. Some people just don't really get the buzz. People here that heroin is a super addictive drug so I think they expect the high to be really intense, but it's the subtle nature of it that makes it so addicting as it seems so gentle.
I don't really feel like its a good idea to suggest that the OP "try it out a few more times", as while opiates are fucking incredible, it seems like if you didn't get much out of the experience you should just thank your lucky stars that you didn't have a life changing experience that could quite possibly change the direction of your life, like heroin did for me and I'm sure many others, in a rather destructive way.
