Opium

I have been experimenting with substances for at least 8 years, and have come across many types, weather perpesly or not. However, I have been completely unsucessful in finding Opium, even though I have tried. What the hell am I doing wrong?

Please dont buy any opium that is a rock, or any opium that is any color but black, and a messy tar that smells like flowers, it wont really be stiff at all, in fact its quite soft and loose, although prepared opium, that which has been purified for smoking, will be darker and stiffer.
NO RED ROCK, NO WHITE ROCK, NO WHITE OPIUM, NO AMBER , NO GREEN , NOTHING "ROCK", go look on erowid for some pics of real opium ok? Take note of the fake crap such as red and white and amber and all that shit, and also realize that black can be fake as well, the only way you will know is by being VERY accustomed to the look and feel and smell, and to try it, if the shit doesnt ABSOLUTELY knock you on your ass, its not real, IT WILL NOT JUST "definately affect you on top of weed" im fighting myself from yelling about this crap, because everyone has to say shit like "i know mine is real because i definately felt something" which is bullshit, you smoke it on weed. If it doesnt knock your ass totally out, its fake.

I've only come accross real opium during three short periods of time. My one friend who goes to a lot of reggae shows says he can occassionally get it from hippies. I've had some of his and it's always been excellent. The only street drug I've seen less than opium is mescaline.

I was offered opium at hempfest in boston when i was in 9th grade, I thought that was hardcore man, so I refused. I regret it now, but it probably wasnt real opium.
I gotta question too, since poppy seeds and flowers are legal to buy and kinda legal to grow, don't you think opium would be more available. Or do people who have it in their backyards and stuff just turn it into heroin?

It's simply not a profitable drug... to get a fair amount of opium it takes a LOT of poppies, which you much grow then milk.. it's not a drug the cartels move in, as it's more profitable to make heroin... if you want opium, read up on http://www.poppies.org - grow your own, it's worth it...
Personally I find it's better to make tea then to smoke it..
