opium question

I don't know anything about opium. Can someone please help explain about the effects and experiences. Thanks

Opium is basically a smokable form of morphine and a couple of lesser opiates. If you're thinking of buying some, don't. It is certainly fake unless you or one of your friends grew the poppies.
Effects: After about the 3rd exhale you will get a very nice opiate rush. Your whole bidy will get warm, euphoria will set it, you may itch a bit.
Just realize that no matter what anyone tells you, so called "opium" in the US is more often than not fake.

The trick you have to look out for is the Soapium shit from High Times that looks and smells and taste pretty close to the real thing only it doesn't do much of anything.

Don't fall for the old "tar heroin" trick either. It is much more cost effective to make/transport heroin and sell it as "opium" in the city to kids who have never even seen the stuff.

Yeah.. the more I think about it, with the exception of one batch, I think anything I was getting as "opium" was probably tar heroin.

The active ingredient of opium is morphine, while the active ingredient of black tar heroin is diacetylmorphine (heroin). Heroin is made by refluxing morphine with acetic anhydride or acetyl chloride. Opium smells better. Heroin is more profitable. Hence, opium in the US is very rare to nonexistant.
