Hello,
I would like to have the same trip as opium trip, without opium.
I've got poppy but i have to wait the flowering time...
I've got morphine (sulf) and codeine (phosph), and i would like to know, if the combination of this two products (orally) is not dangerous. I've found the average ratio of morph/code in opium and it seems to be 1/6, but not in sulf/phosph form. So what could be the ratio in these forms ? Does this combo seem safe ?

The composition of opium is variable, but there's more than just morphine and codeine as active alkaloids. Noscapine, papaverine, etc are also present.

Look up the freebase conversion ratios for morphine/codeine and their salts, then you'll know how much of the salt is morphine or codeine by weight.
 
IDK for sure, but I think the high from opium is greatly influenced by #1) the other actives besides morph and codeine as just mentioned, and #2) the ROA--primarily it being smoked or vapped as it were.

Even if you could obtain all the active metabolites present in opium and in an accurate ratio, you'd have to smoke it to reaaaaallly mimic opium.

That said, opium is a mellow full bodied opiate, so if you want to get that kind of high, I think it won't be too hard to acheive. Just don't take too much or too many opiates trying to get there
 
I know this is WAY off topic. But I just became a proud parent of poppy plants. I read as much as a I can online, but how do you grow? Do you grow out door or indoors? I am trying to do it indoor but I know that I will fail!!!!
 
The closest you can get to opium pharmacutically is opium tincture... But, good luck getting that anymore...

Or you can mix a ratio of I.R. morphine and codeine together, and filter out the pill mater, then frebase the codeine and morphine out of solution.

Then dry it out and smoke the resulting powder...

And yes i would think to base them, but i don't know how to get a solid form of codeine and morphine from an liquid solution (water+morph or codeine).
The way to base them is the same than cocaine ?

how much poppy are you growing? and do you actually make opium or just poppy tea?

Yes, you freebase the opiates out of solution, with a strong base... Freebasing is erroneously stuck to smoking cocaine. Freebasing= neutralizing the acid form of a drug with a strong base leading to the free form of the said molecules.

Freebasing the opiates out of opium/water solution is the step to concentrate the morphine before they add the acetylating agent in making heroin...

You can make smokable highly potent compounds out of poppy tea, or poppy seed tea concentrates if you have proper knowledge of freebasing.
