Stimulants Opium for comedown

Would opium do the trick for a serious amp comedown? I know they both work on dopamine, so I wasn't sure.
 
it should if its real opium. I find it very hard to find opium in the states.
 
I always do some oxy if im coming down from coke and it works wonders, dangerous, but at least your not layin in your bed like a zombie, depressed, anxious, cant sleep and just all around feeling like shit!
 
Opium would be nice for a comedown, no doubt about it. Whenever I indulge in amphetamines or MDPV or something, I always use a downer on the come-down. I am on methadone maintenance right now, so opiates don't help much, but I use benzos for the same purpose. Before I was on MMT though, I would love to do a shot of heroin or something when coming down from stims or MDMA. Mmm makes me salivate thinking about it..
 
Damnit.......You have me craving opium now.....

Last thing I need when I am trying to seriously work through MMT and quit.


To answer your question. Hell yes it will. You would forget all about the comedown in a hurry.
 
opium (YES real) and adderall or grey dolphins (rolls that went around my parts a few years back, contained a high dose of dextroamphetamine, some caffeine, and neglegable MDxx) used to be my favorite combo. i called it speed(BALLIN) cuz it wus like a speed ball and it the opium took the edge off the amps soo nicely and the amps had me liek a workhorse mentally on point and extremely sociable, that it felt like i was ballin. i used to go to work, school, everywhere on that combo. if i could ever get opium again, i would do it all over, one of the greatest times of my life. i could sniff as much speed, smoke as much opium, and smoke as much weed as i wanted to, and i would still be 110% functioning in a work or school environment

*edit* i used to sniff these rolls in 3-6 doses, so i was not "rolling" off them, merely feeling the effects of the caffeine and amphetamines.

Pontifex said it really^ Opium will be like another treat if you're coming down from stims & will likely make you want to stay up & enjoy it, whereas a benzo, though not as satisfying as opium, will help you get the recovery time you need.

Some people ( usually those who've never tried them) actually have qualms about taking a sedative to help a comedown, which is nonsense. What would you rather: Come-down & spend the night fidgeting & stressing like a sick animal, or take 'another drug', a mild one, & be back to normal & eating & sleeping? I swear some people are so fucking ignorant when it comes to benzos. Not you OP, i'm jusy venting here i suppose!

I think a lot of it has to do with the persistent ' combining uppers and downers will make your heart explode' myth.

Yeah it is crazy how much mis-information is spread throughout the majority of drug circles. Sometimes I forget that the intelligent people here on bluelight are really the minority when it comes to drug education. Some of the shit I hear people spew out in public, is crazy. They think it is the truth, too, and won't let you tell them anything. The methadone clinic is a prime example. Man.

Another thing about stim users refusing to use a downer, I think some hardcore stimulant users scoff at the idea of eliminating any sense of "stimulation" from their binges.

Lol. Recently I was at my dealers place & had to listen to some dude babble on about how the mescal bean is used to make mescaline! I couldn't keep a straight face & he was saying it so matter of fact it was just ridiculous. I din't bother correcting him because I could tell he'd be stubborn as a donkey after the way he was pontificating about it. Just ridiculous.
