Opium cough syrup dose

I've checked around on many forums but haven't been able to find an answer to this question.

What's the dose of opium when you know that it is pure?
The only answers I've been able to find is for street quality opium that says you'd need like 600mg for a mild buzz but i know for certain that that is not the case with high grade stuff....

I have this 600ml bottle of cough syrup that contains either
1,7mg or 2,7mg /ml
(not 100% sure yet since it's at a friends house right now...)

That means that i either have 510mg or 810mg of opium in total.

Really i just want to know how much opium would be needed for a nice high. I plan on sharing it with one person. Would that be enough?

Are you sure it's opium? Like it's a bottle of Laudanum or something?

It says on the bottle that every 1ml contains 1,7mg opium... and also on multiple Danish medicine info sites (im from Denmark and the syrup is from a Danish company as well)
So i'd expect it to be pure....

So I can't really find any reliable information on dosage. Some people said 300 mg and one other person said 50 mg and that an oral dose of 300 mg would kill you, IDK whether this is true or not without knowing the concentration of alkaloids in the opium. Given the huge discrepancies I think it's best to start low on the first day and try more the next day.
