Hi guys,

I have been off all drug since couple months ago(i i am not considering the occasional line of what ever)î
Never really had an issue with drugs except crack and heroin, Crack easy for me to let go because it was only mental.
Heroin on the other hand was much much much harder to get off it.Mostly due to the physical pain.
I was never good at keeping time but I would say for about 3 years i have been on and off opioids
I was on MAT with methadone, then 6mg suboxone. Never really followed the doctors instructions as i know the dangers of long acting opiods, I have quit coldturkey 3 times. First it was a normal cold turkey and as you can imagine it was hell(i was coming off of 1g of 80%purity heroin). Second time i said 14 days of hell is too much so i took mg suboxone and the opioids to go into precipitated withdrawals.
I can say it worked but the amount of pain i experience was insane. My brain started hallucinating jst to not feel the pain anymore but it kinda work.

I dont know, like 6 months into being clean a friend bought some opiods and i said what the heck, I knew i was going through Post Acute Withdrawals Symptoms but i figured that i am out of all dangers by that time. So i took pretty big doses of opiods for like a week a 48h hours i felt like shit. Mostly fatigue lack of motivation, etc

My Psychiatrist recommended me to go to ER if i feel bad(lol) and she has a very noticeable bias towards substance use. I wont go into the phylosophy around this but seems expected since Romnia is a comunist country with very old curicullum and tons of judgements, mostly religious.
I cant say i blame her for her ignorance on the matte. I am 100%sure she thinks what she s saying isgood but whatever.
Now she prescripbed me the followingȘ
75mg pregabalin(usually i was taking 300)
150ug clonidine x3 per day(need to go to a family doctor to get that(
Diazepam 10 x 2 times a day
Seroquel 200mg XR at night
DEPAKINE CHRONO 500MG(this worries me as i dont have epylepsy or convulsions so any information on the matter would be helpful)

She recommended me a clinic in Bucharest, howver it seems odd since I have absolutely 0 desire to consume opiods. I actually have a couple of 80mg oxy and 8mg dilaudid lying around and i never thought i want to take them. My only issue was a week of fun while on PAWS whichi ckinda set me back.
The ER recommendation was also shocking since by feeling bad i mean fatigue and lack of motivation

Doctors in the NL were much more in touch with current scientific perpers and seeems to actually know what they are talking about. They also prescribed me ritalin and then vyvanse for being able to manage my dayt day


Can someone give me some info on how this would hep with my situation? DEPAKINE CHRONO 500MG

I also received an ultimatum from my psychiatrist that if i dont call that addiction clinic she wont see me no more and truthfully now i am extremly functional. Even on drugs i was a functionala addict but right now i dont use anything(thats why the withdrawals from that weekend)

Can you please provide more info into Depakine and the help with managing withdrawals?
Ca you put your 2 cents on my conversation with the doctor? MO eems quite condenscending and judgemntal considering that objectively i make more momey then her and i am more productive(drugs or no drugs)
My goal is to be drug free
 
I also have to mention that i suffer from social anxiety and GAD althought my romanian doctor doesnt seem to belive this
She also made me feel like the scum of the earth just because in the last month every weekend i spend like 30eur on drugs?( i had periods in highschool when i was consuming unimaginable quantities of drugs. Before last month i havent used any drugs in i guess more than 5 months
 
Also currently my most annoying side efffet is the lack of energybut she wouldnt give me ritalin I am using 20mg oral pure aphetamine sulphate in the morning but i can see it has a dipaenergic effect which is dislike
 
Odd you should mention a clonic in Bucharest. I knew someone who went there to detox and recover. FYI Romania is not a communist nation. In fact HOW they got rid of the last Communist ruler is quite famous and should serve as a warning to ALL dictators.

He mentioned that once a day each patient was given a green geletin capsule containing a white powder. Nobody could ever tell him what medication(s) were in that capsule, but he stated that it really was the easiest dexox he had been through. I mention this because he wondered if I might know (which I don't) but I did ask him if it was methadone and he was pretty certain that it was not methadone - or at least not just methadone.

I actually have a theory on what might have been in there having read a few Romanian patents on the topic but any suggestion would be pure conjecture and besides, if it IS what I think it is, I'm not about to hand out that iformation to those who might seek to misuse it.

Did you get a name for the clinic? Maybe if you write it, I will recognize it - it's possible, but I make no promises.

BTW never lose sight of the fact that when the team led but Kenneth Bentley discovered buprenorphine, they only ever envisaged it being used for a few weeks. Now patients are being parked on buprenorphine in exactly the way they are being parked on methadone. It's not designed to stop the AWS, just to make it managable. Expectation management is key.

As for all the other medications. Well, all I can say is that in the UK where GPs get the same salery regardless of what they do and do not prescribe, we don't see so many random medications being thrown at a problem. I mean, we struggle to find the interactions between two drugs but three or more... we don't know. Or I should say 'to the best of my knowledge no medical information dealing with the interactions of more than two drugs is known to me'.

But if someone knows better, that's cool.
 
I wouldnt call Ceausescu Communist. He kept all the money for himselff not the people of Romania. Also he was not on good footing with the Soviet union. He was a greedy bastard who got what was coming to him.
 
I would say don’t bother with the Seroquel. It can greatly intensify restless legs before it has any effect on sleep. You’re really golden with the rest of the stuff she’s supplied. Most people would kill to have a doctor give them all of that.

It's really not a great medication to take long time. It's one of those things that aren't at all acutely toxic but can form can form toxic metabolites. Likewise quetiapine which can produce so pretty nasty side-effects if taken long-term.

BTW Sorry for writing the wrong thing, obviusly I should have known better. I will in future.
 
my wothdrawals arent really that sevre. it s just the lack of motivation and letargy. But the medication combo makes me feel like a zombie and for sure it s the depakine. I have taken 3x 300mg lyrica and didnt feel like this.
i am unable to perform complex tasks and i have a constant brain fog. Doctor doesnt want to give me an uppper to ve able to funxtion. the resoning is: i should lay in bed a couple of days and do nothing but thats nkt possible

imma take some amphetamine sufphate. What would br a good dose to make me normal? 20mg orallly? i ddont want to get high

i am not bipolar or manic or schizophrenic.

i just struggle to even get out of bed and it s a real fight typing on my phone. Every task is a nightmaree, i am tired, lethargic, unmotivated althought normally i am aa very curious individual. I was making a cybersecurity homelab before, now i havent even looked at the servers
