What is the “easiest” opioid to withdrawal from? I know that it’s not easy no matter what but is there one more than another that is easier to stop using?

I’ve heard horror stories of people staying on Methadone and Suboxone for forever, but that is all they give you at drug detox/rehabs.

I’ve heard Kratom helps some people but then I also heard it doesn’t too.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Not one of them is easy to withdrawal off of. They’re all incredibly difficult withdrawals. That said in my opinion the easiest is hydrocodone. It’s pretty clean so only one chem to kick. It’s relatively mild. Easier than kicking codeine which is just kicking morphine essentially. But it’s also very difficult to kick. Kratom takes 14 days to kick with the first five days building withdrawal symptom strength until the sixth day when it backs off. I find them all incredibly difficult to kick.

SR-17018 has no withdrawals! That's how I quit. Switch to SR-17018 for 2 weeks, then you can stop taking it and you are fine.

Stopping taking tapentadol 300mg per day had no wd, but i'm thinking to really abuse this opioid you need to push the dosage much higher than this,

Fentanyl matrix latches cut down smaller and smaller to taper was the easiest withdrawl ever. Like it was amazing how painless it was. Only 2 nights without sleep. Zero stomache pain or sweats. Was buying my new kitten the 3rd day after being clean.

If they got ppl
Off like that so many more ool
Would not fear withdrawl. It would revolutionize detox programs.

If that is true there isn’t a snowballs chance in hell that drug will ever be legal or clinically approved. We have some sick fuckerd pulling the strings in the west (America basically)

Is there a pharmacological rationale for why this works like that?

In theory, buprenorphine withdrawals are less intense, because it is only a partial opiod agonist instead of something like heroin or oxycodone. On the otherhand, bupe has a very long half-life so the withdrawals tend to linger for possibly up to a month. Still, I'm on Subutex because it's the best bang for your buck choice for having a long-acting opiod in my system all day long.

I mean i really hope thats the case, but i cant believe it, just by virtue of how opiates and withdrawal works. If its an opiate and you take it long term and your body starts to overproduce norepinephrine and under produce dopamine it takes time for the body to regulate itself again. How would it work?

Fast acting opioids with super short half-life…….quick and painful, but over in 2 weeks or less depending on dose, frequency of use, etc

Diacetylmorphine (Heroin), Oxycodone, Hydromorphone all roughly similar
Methadone- super Loooong duration of withdrawal

I had heavy use of Oxy, IV Heroin (15 years ago when it was actually H and I tested positive for 6-MAM - main metabolite of H) . I did mine cold turkey. From day 1 to day 14 (2 weeks duration)

1-3 days was rough (cold, sweaty, agitated, etc)
4-10 days were INSAINE (time off work, non functional, mental & physical torture)
10-14 days starts to gradually taper off….start feeling better

2 weeks you’ll be good (physically)….but mentally you’ll still be thinking about scoring or opioids in general, you miss the feeling, etc

IMPORTANT- Go to walk-in clinic or family doc (if you’re not too embarrassed or will alter negatively future relationship with doc) mine is super cool and gave me comfort meds……and you should ask for comfort meds.

Clonidine 0.1mg tablets (most important) simply amazing med. if I could pick 1 only, it would be Clonidine. Reduces norepinephrine in the CNS, lowering BP & HR. reduces the cold sweat and hot flashes, has very potent anxiolytic properties and is an effective sedative

Diazepam (Valium) low dose if you’re lucky 2-5mg ……ask for Diazepam 5mg X 2 daily just for 5 days ……if no, ask for 2mg tablets ….due to their potent muscle relaxation and potent anti anxiety properties, just a small amount insist, for 3 days even, when worst WD is happening

Pregabalin (Lyrica) 150mg capsules….amazing anxiolytic properties and anticonvulsant (also used for neurological pain, restless leg syndrome, anxiety disorders etc)

Gabapentin is same MOA but weaker and poor oral bioavailability
Pregabalin has 90% oral bioavailability, works faster and more potent

Clonidine 0.1mg
Diazepam 5mg
Pregabalin 150mg

These 3 comfort meds would be soooooo appreciated and helpful, just for 5 days or so…….low dose…..in morning…..after lunch maybe 3pm ish ……and an hour prior to bed, so you can actually sleep

You can go to health suppliment store and get natural remedies that work VERY well

Passion Flower tincture (liquid in glass bottle with ml dropper) same MOA as benzodiazepines. It’s a GABA-A Agonist / PAM just like Valium, Xanax, Ativan, etc

Valerian tincture- Very potent & effective sedative and sleep aid, calming effects. I use Passion Flower + Valerian + Lemon Balm, add orange juice….in 30min you’ll DEFINITELY feel the effects

Kava - Kava is another potent anxiolytic herb health supplement, I have bottle….its very potent and effective with proper dose, not daily heavy usage due to liver issues with heavy use. No issues with sporatic minimal use…..30min you’ll feel the effects, very calming and sedating (Calm & Relaxation) it sais on bottle Organika brand tincture

Hops
California Poppy ….both effective mild sedatives and reduce anxiety……some glass bottle tincture contains all 5-7 compounds.

It isn’t B.S. …Mother Nature provides us mammals with extensive medical plants and compounds. Opium poppy tracing back over 3-5,000 years in ancient Mesopotamia (currently Iraq) South American Coca , Horn of Africa - Khat (Cathinone, beta-ketone-amphetamine) natural amphetamines, like Coca ……euphoric stimulants , increase energy, reduce hunger, work harder, longer, recreational social gatherings, consuming opium and Khat/Coca lol. Cannabis, Psilocybin (magic mushrooms) Mescaline (peyote cactus) DMT (frogs lol) ethanol wheat, barley, yeast

5,000 years ago + man kind have been using these natural plant alkaloids for their medicinal properties……the opium poppy is properly the most significant……powerful pain reliever and causes mood-boosting euphoria followed by a deep restful sleep

1850-1930’s modern science basically isolated and purified all these alkaloids into water soluble hydrochloride salts, pharmaceutical tablets and injectable solutions

Diacetylmorphine (Heroin)
d-Desoxyephedrine (Methamphetamine)
Phenylisopropylamine (Amphetamine) Benzedrine/Dexedrine/Methedrine
….the list goes on into the hundreds + analogs, prodrugs, synthetic compounds, etc

Thank you modern science, organic chemistry, and pharmacology ……thank you very much :)

My lord lol…..where did that go? My apologies…..few hours ago my Brompton Cocktail 🍸 took effect and am on third drink on this sunny ☀️ Sunday :) ….didn't even realize I was blabbering on a runaway train ….was kinda thinking out load in my euphoric pleasant state lol 😆

I'm not that smart, I really don't know exactly how it works, but I can say for a fact from personal experience that it very much does work, and it works amazingly well.

The SR-17018 does not get you high or anything while you take it. It just prevents you from going into withdrawals. You keep on that for a couple weeks and then you can stop the SR and it's almost like you were never hooked on opiates to begin with. It's wild man.

Only tough part was the first couple days taking SR-17018 I was feeling real tired and unmotivated, but luckily none of the usual mental anguish I typically get during acute opiate withdrawals. Regardless, for someone who is in a tough spot with work/life/etc. where they can't take a couple days of downtime, I believe you can avoid going through that bit of fatigue by doing a short rapid taper off of your usual opiate of choice through the first few days taking SR-17018. Reduce from your typical dosage per day by about 25% each day until day 4 you are only taking the SR-17018, and you should be good to go

Another way to try to taper yourself down is the method I call one in the pocket. When trying to quit it normally stash my stash or get to where I had 1-2 bags left then would stop using. The fact that you have 1-2 hits sitting there takes away a ton of the anxiety of holy shit im dry. And in my experience kinda curbs the anxiety induced withdrawals, which everyone probably knows what im talking about. I've made it close to 4 days with this method but then decided to eat and that kicked off the utter hell. But if you can make it even a full 24 hrs before using you could use this method to infact taper down.

Tapentadol but its very rare in America. I could feel something of a withdrawal after 3 weeks of constant use but it eased up in a couple of days. This has to do with the lower binding affinity for it (molecules don't latch onto the brain's receptors as aggressively). Oxy is not the worst physical withdrawal by any means, but definitely the worst mental aspect for some reason. There is no "opioid" easy to withdraw him. Even the most mild withdrawal is very uncomfortable. Each are highly addicting in their own right, and even getting off something like codeine after extended use might be tolerable... but it definitely would still suck a lot for obvious reasons for like 2-4 weeks.
