Sorry even Heroin on occasion when oxy not available, lets not forget about the xanax and valuim i would sometimes cocktails with the opiods, Now i wen cold turkey which was disgusting a feeling you could not explain my main problem was NO food i couldn't eat everything tasted like paper now i failed i ended up getting H my appetite came back and a ate i feel much better. only problem is i don't want to go through this again i couldn't go to work cause i felt so week and how long does the thing last for cause the last few days i ate the amount a normal healthy growing man would eat in one day. maybe not even this scared me which led me to get H again which bought my appetite back in.

If you are unable to go through a cold turkey detox, it would be advisable to go seek medical attention for a taper plan. Also, you haven't mentioned your benzo consumption rate, so it may just be a good idea all around to get prescribed taper medications, for your opiate dependence as well as possible benzodiazepine dependence.

Ok so my usual intake would be 3x 80mg oxy and maybe 1 or 2 xanax 2mg. mixed with about 3-4 valiums. daily then i dropped abit took out the vals was easy xanax was easy then went cold turkey on the ox. no appetite 2 days wat do i do how long does it last when i take snow = H . appetite comes back back

You need to ween your body off of the opiates and the benzos. Go to a doctor for help with this, as you need to be put on substances with longer half-lives and under medical supervision.

Either taper or go on suboxone (see suboxone mega thread).
Benzos and clonidine and immodium help WDs a lot
See Ur doc about those for the purpose of detox
It lasts about 5-7 days of no eating or sleeping with intense mental and physical pain including shits anxiety depression restless leg syndrome insomnia vomiting hot and cold chills vile sweats. Etc
Don't expect to work.
It's a bitch .
Cold turkey kick is too hard for a lot of people. Try the above ways to make it easier on urself

Edit- benzos if ur addicted physically going cold turkey can be dangerous so u MUST taper and I'd consult my doctor about this

If you're really addicted then doing it on your own isn't gonna work. Even if you get past the first couple days of physical withdrawals you have months of depression to deal with and if you're just doing it on your own--acting like nothing is wrong--chances are you will relapse because it's soooooooo easy to talk yourself into getting some dope knowing you will be instantly better. I also don't recommend taking suboxone long-term (ie: longer than 2-3 weeks) because it's just as hard to get off as any other opiate. I was on suboxone for a year and a half and coming off of it gave me the worst withdrawals of my life. They weren't as intense as heroin or oxy, but they lasted forever. I was still getting chills and cold sweats at 45 days clean from suboxone.

Tell someone close who can help hold you accountable. Just letting someone know what you're going through and being honest with them if you relapse goes a long way. You can always try AA/NA too if you don't have any friends/family that can support you.

Edit: And yeah, Immodium is a godsend for a home detox. If you can get prescriptions for clonidine (blood pressure medication) and robaxin (muscle relaxer) they help too.

When detoxing off of opiates I found that soup is the easiest/best thing to eat. It takes me a while to be able to eat dry foods like breads and stuff, but no matter how much I don't feel like eating, I am usually able to get some soup or stew down. From there you can slowly begin to work some more solids into your diet.
