Opioids Opioid/Tramadol

I just had a surgery and was prescribed Tramadol and it didn’t do shit for my pain. I would have much rather had the oxy/perc for the pain. But mind you I was only prescribed like 30 mg I think. I had trams back in the day too and I don’t remember it helping much either.
