Opioid Tolerance

I have a couple of basic tolerance & dependence questions. (This is in relation to physical dependance, not physiological)

I have recently started occasional heroin use & have set myself a few basic rules so as not to become physically addicted & to keep my tolerance low.

About once a month I get myself 1 gram of h & use it (snort) within 5-7 days. I am able to easily stick to this as I don't know anyone where i live who sells or uses heroin, & on set dates once a month i go to where I am able to get good h for a decent price. Over the days when I am using I can see my tolerance go up. So that means for at least 3 weeks a month I am not using.

My question is - over these 3 weeks does my tolerance go back to basically zero? Or is this not long enough & will my tolerance keep rising & eventually the 1 gram will only last me 2 days (or less)?

I'm asking because I want to keep that opioid magic.

Thanks

It's different for all people, there are too many variables to consider. The only real accurate way is to measure your own dosages or how long the gear is lasting, though you need to be getting consistent purity or even that might end up skewed. 3 weeks between doses though, that should be enough time to let most of the tolerance drop.

Sounds like to me the tolerance isn't getting enough time to build but like nAON said it's different for everybody. This regime sounds good the hard part will probably be keeping this regime

First, do you actually mean "physical not physiological" or do you mean "physical not psychological"?

Regardless, it is the physical you are referring to so here I go: Three weeks is a bit of time. I am assuming you are not using any opioids during thia period? If you are not, your tolerance will most likely at least be lowered a good bit. It is true that this will very person to person, but you'll find out pretty quick, right? Then, Im not sure... I mean you ARE using on a sort of schedule, and daily (for days on end-same month after month. Your body can familiarize itself with this, ... (blah blah) and your tolerance may be slower to drop (if it does [much] at all).

From my recent experience I woukd say your tolerance should be just a bit lower after 3 wks of abstinence.
