Opioid tolerance question

I usually take between 7-10 325-7.5 Hdrocodone, My question is, Can I take two Roxi 30's and still have a few beers after about 6 hours ? Yes they are TR's

I first wanna make sure that youre doing a CWE on those pills because that much acetaminophen is incredibly bad for your liver. but if you are, 60mg of oxy is gonna be as strong, if not stronger than 75mg hydro, so you may wanna judge whether you want to add beer to your concoction after youve peaked on the oxy.

but nonetheless, most of the oxy will be out of your body after 6 hours, so you should be fine. i just wouldnt make it a regular thing for your liver's sake

75mg hydro is equivalent to 50 mg oxy on the conversion chart but having said that it is referencing the analgesic effects and not the euphoria. I wouldn't mix the alcohol because even if the oxy isn't stronger then what you are used to it's on par at the least and alcohol and opiates are very dangerous!

Even on the Time relese stuff ? I was under the impression it stays with you for 12 hours. And by "beers" I mean like 2-3 cans. Not a 12 pack or anything like that. By the way thanks for the input. What opioids omit the acetaminophin ?

I took two at 8:00 am this morning and it's now 3:00 pm. Is it safe to switch to an Oxycodone or should I wait the 12 hours ?

What's a "CWE" ?

People over react on the Tylenol ... CWE is cold water extract to extract the Tylenol out make it pure cause they say 4 grams is max a day to take Tylenol... That's kinda bs people in Australia who can get it over the counter take up to 20-40 grams in a day for days in a row with problems ya some don't have problems till using 10 grams a day for a year or two so 3 grams here and there isn't even a big deal

I misread the fact that they were time released, and therefore take back my answer. DO NOT DRINK THE BEER within 12 hours.

And your question worries me because CWE is Cold Water Extraction which allows the hydrocodone (or almost any opiate/opioid) to dissolve in water while separating and eventually filtering the acetaminophen out. The amount of acetaminophen in 10 of the hydros you were taking accounts to 3250mg, which is a VERY high amount and should never be consumed in such a manner. I HIGHLY advise you to look up on youtube how to perform a CWE and do that from now on, especially if you are going to drink alcohol anytime in the near future.

You do not need to Cold Water Extract anything, like the roxis, that is purely oxycodone, but anything with acetaminophen in them seriously need to be

Yeah, your chances of overdosing on 3250mg are slim especially if used only occasionally, but i would not take acetaminophen lightly, and if i were you, i would take any and all precautions to avoid using it at all.
Its occasional use at therapeutic doses is fine, but it can severely harm your liver over time, that is all i caution

So true Tylenol is absolutely toxic. If you did it here or there is one thing(still wouldn't recommend it) but you are talking daily, that shit is gonna fuck you up and not in a good way. Do you like your liver and kidneys?

Head high I maybe didn't explain myself I agree ya people die from 20 grams my point was your liver builds tolerance to it and there are people who took 40 grams a day for months main problem was stomach related intestinal processing issues of the Tylenol not even liver failure but my point was the tolerance . If you randomly take 20 grams ya that's bad but taking 3-4 grams here and there ain't a big deal but yeah I CWE after taking more than 30-40 grams total in a binge period

Invisible Helper, that may be true for certain people but this is a harm reduction forum, and telling someone that a lethal dose of acetaminophen MIGHT not harm them is a very bad idea. Im sure you meant no harm by it, i just wanted to make sure that OP does not mistake the info you gave for good advice

It absolutely is a big deal. People have dropped dead on around 4000mg (well, not dropped dead, it was quite painful from what I understand). Tylenol is really not good for you at all, I won't even take 1.

I read that it is safe to take up to 4,000mg of Tylenol a day. My question is, if a person has to use medication for a few months due to an injury, is the continuous use of the Tylenol super dangerous? Even though the doctor prescribed?

Ok, for a short period of time it most likely will not negatively affect your liver too badly, BUT just because a doctor tells you to do something doesnt mean that he's correct. Most doctors will not put anyone on 4g of acetaminophen for more than a few weeks, so if its been prescribed for months at a time at that level, you should CWE and save your liver the harm

Dude you guys are over reacting and not getting my point ... I would also CWE but it's not always perfect 100% all opiates from the pill and sometimes easier in a situation to just eat them

I don't think anyone is overreacting at all they are trying to give you some very good advice, you must be young. If you know it could harm you as you stated in your post then why would you continue to do it.

It is definitely easier to just eat them then to do a CWE, but trust me that 30 minutes or so to do a proper CWE is well worth it.
