Opioid IV made heart pound hard

Admittedly I took too much, but injected some heroin I bought off the dw. Almost immediately my heart began to beat harder than I had ever experienced and my entire body started to feel tingly/numb. I took it at 5pm, woke up some hours later with a headache and stumbled to get some aspirin. I woke for the day around 7am with what felt like an alcohol hangover.

Anybody else ever have this experience or any idea what I took or what it was laced with?

Sounds like a cut but thers no telling what it is. Without a test we would just be guessing

I had this happen to me the other day. Though I had an EXTREME histamine reaction. My fingers, feet and face swelled up massively.
I think I had a dirty shot combined with histamine reaction. Though im really still not sure. My blood pressure and heart rate rose significantly and terrifyingly. I thought I was for sure going to die. Ive used out of this same batch and it hasnt happened. It honestly scared the hell out of me.
If anyone else can comment it would be great.

Opioids in general don't make your heart work faster and if your getting that effect then it's safe to assume it's been cut with something that does the contrary to what Opioids do. Also the numbness is a cause for concern as well. Don't take anymore!

Whenever I took too much, snorting, I would throw up for like the entire day. The heart pounding thing for me would likely be absurd. I’d assume the substance wasn’t heroin. Sounds like nitazenes. You really would need to send it for testing. Others might be right with a cut. I’ve never thrown away dope though. I’d try a less harmful roa and a much smaller amount to determine the drug characteristics though. The heart rate increasing is very strange for an opiate. I’ve felt my heart slow to a gurgle with fetanyl. I thought you might have been scared when it didn’t feel right. I know I’d be scared just at the IV thing and feeling it be wrong would really scare the shit out of me. Losing consciousness is also horrifying.

Very possible you got a hotspot of whatever it was cut with. This is why I don't bother with heroin anymore. Haven't seen any real heroin in over 10 years now. I'm convinced no one is making it anymore. At least not anyone willing to import it to NA.

The people cutting this stuff aren't doing it properly either. They're dumping a bunch of powder out on a table and using two playing cards. Then there is the whole issue of things settling during transport before it gets to you even if it was done correctly.

This might sound a bit naive but the gear I was using was double Uglobe I e double lion. Well regarded as the highest potency, most sought after heroin in Australia. Regularly testing at over 95% pure. It was uncut too. So it wasn't cut, it was definitely real heroin and I'm stumped as to why this would happen.
I honestly have no fucking clue what happened. It hasn't happened again though. I kind of hoped it would because it would have scared me off using heroin forever but no, things went back to normal unfortunately.
Very strange.
