Hi guys my DOC for pain relief and other uses would be oxycodone or hydrocodone. Last year, i would be taking 7.5 or 10 mg of oxy or even 15 to 20 and i would feel the effects properly. It also relieved my pain and everything else properly. I took oxys on a very spread out and spacey schedule to avoid tolerance. I haven't taken opies for a pretty long time now. Ever since i've been on a ssri(8 months) and a few days ago i decided to take two oxys for a little recreation and the effects felt like such a waste.. i also tried to dose some again reccently & the effects were nowhere near pronounced as last year. Tolerance seems impossible for me to factor in here because there was a big time frame between taking oxy & opiates. I am also not dependent on it either. My question is, does Zoloft somehow dim down opiates effects? If that is the case, then i will taper off and stop the zoloft because its not helping with my anxiety issues at all anyways.

Talk to a medical professional about this. If you want to stop taking the Zoloft quit under the supervision of the doctor who prescribed you the medication.

If you ask a doctor or other medical professional about combining opiates with Zoloft you will not get in trouble.
