Since oxycodone is similar to heroin would someone that prefers hydrocodone to oxy, not get enjoyment from heroin? I also am wondering if methadone is most similar to hydro or oxy or opanas?

There are many anecdotal differences between how a person experiences different opioids. I don't think Oxycodone and Heroin feel similar. The former is far 'speedier', has a 'cleaner' feel (less peripheral opioid effects like itching, watery eyes, body load), less euphoria, less of a rush when injected, etc. But that's my experience. No one can tell you what you would like or how you would compare different opioids in your subjective experience.

Really Oxy and H are just as different, or even less similar than Oxy and Hydro.
Oxy and Hydro are actually very similar structurally as far as I know, where as the two are very different from H when it comes to their molecular make up. H is a morphine derivative while both oxy and hydro are thebaine derivatives.
Methadone is not similar to any of those in any way other than the fact that it is a mu opiate agonist. Methadone has a structure and action that is very different from most opiates available making it very distinct.
Again like I said hydrocodone and oxycodone are very similar while Opana (oxymorphone), as far as I know is actually somewhat similar too. In fact Oxycodone is metabolized in the body into oxymorphone. Oxymorphone and Hydromorphone are the morphone derivitives of the codones hydrocodone and oxycodone.
As to your question about preference…well it is almost impossible for anyone to tell you what another person is going to like, but heroin and Methadone do have some very different feelings from those of hydro and oxy. H and done, in my opinion are going to be much more sedating while both hydro and oxy, especially oxy, have a somewhat stimulating effect to them.
Really though I/we can not tell you what someone is going to like better. I hate posts like this and I don’t even know why I even put this much time and effort into responding.

They're all different drugs with different effects, methadone is the most different because it is not a "true" opiate.

Hydrocodone gets me to a good place. Oxycodone doesn't affect me at all, and the one time I tried heroin out of curiosity, just to see what all the fuss was about, I hated it. I didn't get high at all, just tired.
EDIT: I should add that it wasn't the heroin's fault - I was smoking it with a friend of mine who is a regular user of heroin, and it was hitting him just fine. It just... didn't do anything for me. Glad to have gotten that out of my system, tbh.
I suppose it depends on the individual.
Of course, NONE of that affects me anymore, seeing as how I'm on Suboxone. Which, by the way, does give me a small rush like hydro used to do
