Opiates reduce my acne?

Im not sure where to post this since this is a pretty lighthearted question. I don't get acne as bad as i used to when i was going through puberty, but i still get occasional breakouts if I don't wash my face or i get stressed. but not on opiates weirdly... it even gets rid of any body acne i have better than anything I've ever tried... (ive done Hydocodone and oxycodone btw). and I even often forget to shower and wash my face on binges, but all my acne goes away...

is it the opiates? the acetominophen? the benadryl i take for the itch and to potentiate? is it that i drink way more water when doing opiates?

Probably because opiates are known to suppress testosterone. Which could prevent you from having as many breakouts I suppose depending on your body chemistry.

There is definitely something to be said about this. While in the act of heroin addiction my face stays completely dry and almost no oily feel. Everytime I've been through a detox/treatment and sobered myself up, I get bad break outs the first few weeks and zits from time to time during periods of extended sobriety.

I was in the hospital IV Morphine for 2 weeks. When I came out, for the first time in my life....my face was clear than ever. Wow! I also looked 5 yrs younger. I didn't shower or wash my face once in those 2 weeks at the hospital. Im sure it was the opiates that made my skin beautiful
