ey guys hey guys i know this has proly been answered/discussed what have you thusands of times before so lemm apologize in advance
Ok so ive been on MMT for a good year now and been coming off my dose or 75mg for about 5 monhths now. its just not possibl to drag my ass to the clinic every morning due to class and work, now im on 25mgs, ive readthat methadone only "blocks" other opiates at as much as 120mg to as low ass 40.. so obviously thats alarge margin there and it ddnt take into account if the user ahs taken done for a while or not
so being on 25mgs of done would it block so to spak the othr opite im planning on taking? and if so howlong do i gotta wait to tke it?

Blockade effect of Methadone is generally reckoned to kick in around the 60-80mg mark and up. The blockade effect at that dose is a function of cross-tolerance so unlikely 25mg would 'block' the other opiate, no. Effects are gonna be additive but difficult to say if you'd feel the usual full effects from it or if they'd be diminished somewhat by the cross tolerance. Some opiates would cut through even the 80mg blockade if they're potent enough and dosed high enough to be stronger than the methadone. Think it depends really on what the opiate is and how administered? Tchort does a better job explaining than me on his original post on this thread wot I did nick most of what I subsequently learned about methadone blockade from originally! ;) Watch the CNS depression. Methadone daily dosed's a wavey bugger with peaks and troughs, rise and fall. Watch the dose and watch the timing.

Are you sure you want to start taking other opiates man? You were put on MMT for a reason, because you were addicted to opiates. If you are going to class you don't want to fall off the band wagon. I had to take a year off from my university because of my heroin habit, don't make the same mistake. Congrats on tapering your MMT and hopefully getting off of it but don't ruin everything you've just done by starting a new habit with other opiates.

thanks I appreciate it. ill check out that thread too
and yonot tobe a dick bu first i want put non methadone. i went on it myself. second yes... im sure...
