Opiates just arent for me :(

I seem to experience a similar situation. I was prescribed 5mg lortabs because of a bad bicycle wreck, and upon taking three of them, I only felt somewhat more talkative, and I noticed I was rambling even more than I usually do. However, no real euphoria, no real buzz. The only real effects I noticed were that even if I only took one, and then smoked some pot, it just made me feel really confused and uncoordinated.
