Lots of BS to sift through in this thread, but yes, of course opiates are the most effective anti-depressants- but only in the short term - the problem is, they have no real tolerance ceiling, and eventually stop working at reasonable levels...leading to higher and higher levels of dependency, and reaching a point where the effects of the drug aren't even felt, but you have to take them anyway.
Cassandra, I would strong recommend staying away heroin or bupe, instead I have three recommendations for you, in this order:
- Kratom
- Effexor
- Tramadol
All three are more reasonable for long term use, all three provide real mood enhancing properties, and all three tend to have less damaging relationships with their users.
I've lived as a dope fiend and as an OC addict - it starts fun, but will end up in a dark place, where someone predisposed to depression does NOT want to me. Trust me.
